CS Rising: Building CS Skills with Creative Hut offers middle school students a high-energy summer experience where creativity meets code. Held in the AWS Think Big Space, the camp provides hands-on projects to build computer science skills and knowledge. Students will engage in project-based learning, blending creativity with technology. Activities may include building sensor-driven solutions like drones that detect forest fires, designing and printing 3D models using Bambu X1C printers, and participating in LEGO Robotics challenges to encourage computational thinking, teamwork, and design. The camp aims to build early confidence, spark curiosity, and demonstrate that computer science is approachable and fun, preparing students for a future where tech skills and creative thinking are essential.
Each week-long session runs Monday–Friday, from 10:00 AM–2:00 PM, offering a unique opportunity to build future-ready skills in a real-world innovation space.
