The Comunidad Coding Bootcamp for Teens: Microcontrollers and Machine Learning is a week-long intensive program designed to equip middle and high school students with foundational computer coding skills. Students engage in hands-on programming, microcontrollers, and applied machine learning. The curriculum focuses on teaching the basics of computer coding in a new language, allowing students to develop technical skills for future careers. Participants will learn to apply coding skills to cutting-edge tech fields, including Artificial Intelligence, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Web Development, and Art+Tech. The program emphasizes project-based learning, where students work on hands-on activities and projects to gain real-world skills and simulate the experience of professional software engineers. Upon completion, students receive a laptop and an Emerging Technologies certificate.
Each day is filled with hands-on activities and project building, allowing students to gain real-world skills and work together simulating a day-in-the-life of professional software engineers.
The ideal student is a middle or high schooler interested in pursuing a college degree in engineering, computer science, or technology, with no prior coding experience required.
